i cant beat the dark desert race with jet
if sonic gets ahead of me by 2 feet then hes just gone and i cant get ahead

3 things to remember:

1. In the U-like cavern after the 3 short drops, shortly after the race starts, you can ride the rubulence to the top of the cave, where a shorter route, and 100 rings, awaits your arrival.

2. There will also be (right after that) the crazy, techno place. Take the center path and time your jump just right to take the grind rail to victory.

3. After that, when you reach the city, immidiately go right and jump the rail. The rail will break off soon after, so jump at just the right time to carry on the rail grinding to the top structure. More rings and a quicker path on top.

and i did notice that you like nuber order things

Also those 3 little ledges that you go over, if you jump at the right time it will be like a ramp, use this to your advantage.

i beat the dark desert last night and now im stuck on sky road becuase i cant conner well

Takes practice, try and get in the lead at the start, if you do you won't have as many problems since the com does like to make you fall off in it's turbulance. Trust me, it will get worse. Try doing missions, namely try getting GOLD! Now after having trouble with that, imagine 100 missions of the same thing. Trust me, that will seem like the kiddy pool compared to the missions.
