	Story mode isnt bad, Its just a grand prix, with cutscenes.

	OMFG, Sega Carnival rules! The coarse is really colorful, with scenes from every sega game created. You see nights, billy hatcher, sonic, super monkey ball, .... lol, Who has it? I like the part where it says, "Sonic Rapido!!!!". The music isnt great though. oh ya, and for the people that have it, when you get to the short cut, with the crazy taxi, why does it say this on the licence: INOMISS ????? It's not comparable to Mario Kart because that game is slow, this is fast. Those are Karts, these are Back to the Future hoverboards. It's definately worth renting, despite the short as HELL story mode. It's pretty challenging. 	Well, it DOES have a drift system, but unlike in Mario Kart, you have to be leaning in a cartain direction to drift. Otherwise, you'll decellerate. Come to think of it, this drifting system just plain sucks. But seriously, there really isn't anything in common with MK and Sonic Riders. Riders is good, but Mario Kart kicks collosal ass.

I've always found Mario Kart games to be less fun than everyone makes them out to be. Trust me, I've owned every one of them apart from DS at one point or another, and they're just not all that exciting. If Riders had a better storyline and more stuff to do, I'd be like "HELLZ YEA GET RIDERZ", but it's not that good either. Better than MK though, IMO. Also, Riders is far more challenging that MK. It takes more than one try to win a race, as opposed to Mario Kart, in which you can pretty much sweep the entire game up until the Mirror 150 CC Cup thingy. ------------------- MOHENJO DARO

If you played Mario kart, it is sorta similar to that. Exept: Fast pace, less reaction time, makes it less boring. Not alot of items you can use, or items the com. can use to get advantage of you. (to me, items are annoying) If you had a bad start, there is still hope, you can catch the draft of other players. If your in first, others can catch draft off of you, so it makes it almost impossible to lap some one. Tons of ridable gear to unlock, from stuff like the hovercraft, to a broom stick. lots of characters to unlock. story mode is just a Grand Prix, exept there is cutscenes. Story mode is sorta short, like others had said; there is two story modes. mission mode is challenging, not hard, but it asked you to do stuff besides finishing a good time on the track. music is good, better than shadow the hedgehogs music. graphics are good, easy to see, not dark. 	Nope. The only thing that can be picked up from a capsule is the bomb. Just got aiai and the gang, with all of there gear. I just got a new gear, called the super hang on. Get this, It changes the Track music, lol.

I'm not sure if there's anything else, but all there is in races are Ring capsules, Air capsules, Speed Powerups (the shoe), Bombs (more like boulders, really), and Invulnerablity which is a lot like the Star from Mario Kart.
