	Did you use the update option ? I updated mine before playing ( both windows XP Prof & the game ) and I never had a single problem.

	I do not know about an XP patch but NovaLogic still provides the update which fixes a lot of bugs and issues in the game: 01.00.00.36r Fixes several singleplayer mission issues, including the shuttle landing problem that occurred in the "Aftermath of Destruction" mission.
