I'm just starting the game. I got as far as the boards that need to be hit with the hammer but can't figure out how to do that. Only thing I could figure was my strength wasn't high enough - it's 40. Is there any way to build up strength or is there a way to hit the boards with the hammer that I haven't figured out? Thanks.

This is a couple months old, so I'm not sure if you figured this out already...

If you have the hammer, you should be able to break open the boards - that part of the game doesn't rely on strength. Make sure it's equipped, and then you'll have to dance around in front of the rocks hitting "enter" until it works. The game gets kind of picky in some areas.

Coincidentally, if you want to raise D'kor's strength, you're able to do it by fighting animals in the caves and leaping around on rocks. It doesn't take too long if you have a little patience, and that way you can reach the final level of strength early on.
