Totally overlooked gem! |
|
Singelplayer was great but now I finally found someone to play multiplayer and it was so much fun! First the assembling of your army! Then scouting and positioning... and then the fights... Tanks vs tankkillers, Nebelwerfers vs Cantilopes, Tigers vs upgraded Shermans (Jumbo, Firefly), reparing units and trying to keep the repar-unit(s) alive! Placing and clearing mines! So much to do! Next to the C&C series this is my favorite RTS-game! (together with Desert rats, D-Day and Moscow to Berlin of course)

Great, at last another player of Battle of the Bulge and Desert Rats. I've only played single player, and have reached "extreme" level competence. Remagen Bridge is very difficult at this level, and ones attacks need be very mobile, until the nebelwerfers are k.o. The management screen is missing in single player mode. This feature is fine with Desert Rats and D. Day. in single player mode. Multiplayer can only be unbelievably challenging.

Hello, I began this series with D Day, then BoB and finally so I thought the Desert Rats vs AK. The Moscow to Berlin game will give me an honest chance to test my practiced single player skills. It has not been stocked here in Christchurch NZ. So as with BoB I'll order one at a local shop. I consider single player to be a tutorial series for eventual multiplayer events. I grew up playing chess. Yes it is a Totally overlooked gem! Thanks Jabba55.
