It should be more, shouldn't it? There are three factors that affect your age outside of experience:

1. Prison, depending on how long it takes you to get the key.
2. After defeating Jack the first time; a year passes.
3. Traveling to the Northern Wastes; I don't remember how long it was supposed to have taken you....

Also, is it even possible to beat the game without ever leveling up?

If you get every health/will potion you possibly can, and use as good a weapon as you can handle (as carrying the heavy weapons requires leveling up your physique), you probably could.

I don't remember who said it or where it is, but someone beat Jack in the original Fable with the stick.......

That would be a feat, methinks. It must have taken whoever it was a really long time.

On another note... I was doing the biggest fish contest and The fisherman at Fisher Creek somehow split into two people... The two characters stand in the same place but one face talks and the other seems frozen... It's almost as if he has a Siamese Twin. Has this glitch happened to anyone else?

yea it has happened to me a number of times.

nice, i just beat him up and he ran away, so no more fishing for me. (i did get the rod first though)

That's really strange. I've never had anything like that happen to me. Does the clone just vanish eventually? Or does he just stand there until you leave the area or beat him up?

He just says something, cant remember what though, and leaves...

ALso, Dutch Samaruai, it is quite easy to beat the game (well, the original Fable anyway) with out levelling up... I did it

I've never tried doing hegame without levelling up, but I might sometime. Here's what weapons I'd use:
1. Get Willow's Pickhammer as soon as possible.
2. Get Master Katana as quick as possible after The Arena.
3. Then use either The Sword of Aeons, or Avo's Tear.

Thought this was funny.

I just had the greatest idea!!!!! I'm totally gonna try going through the game without leveling up and then I'm gonna go to the Temple of Avo and donate until my age goes down and see if I can be younger at the end of the game than when i graduated from the Hero's Guild...

You won't get any lower than Age 18.

well once you could do the Bandits at Orchard Farms quest I could be invincible practically, just Hero Save glitch a ton of the increase life potions and vwa-la...I will have full health, than all I have to do is block like none other...
