Hoping to see any signs, I've looked into the channels I have at my disposal but I haven't uncovered anything. Just hoping that somehow work kicked up or took him off-guard. :/

See this as a failure across the board.

One, because the moderators heavily endorsed someone with no vested interest in the trade. To not only take cards and money from two groups of clients. Yet, no one had the common sense to request an invoice for the items or inventory they were sending to a third party.

Two, everyone wanted something for nothing. How hard is it to do your own legwork. Sure, it might take a little longer but you're assured everything is on the up. If they refuse to send you an invoice or pay said invoice. Then, don't do business with them period.

These are common business practices people need to use going forward. Hopefully, you're friend lives up to his reputation. Yet, people change and life goes on.
