how do i beat this "flying dutchman" thing. im at the end of the part of this game and it keeps on throwing things at me. i cant catch them, and i cant hit him, what do i do?

ok to get past the flying dutchman its kinda simple. first when you get down there you see a jellyfish launcher. pick it up and stand on the first cliff. when you see the flying dutchman, fire a couple of shots at him and one of the bubbles on the bottom of the screen should dissapear. dont forget to get more jellyfish jam to refill your launcher!
and oh yeah heres a tip......when you first start, go to the bottom and get 1 or 2 spatulas. each time you get hit, go get one or two more so you dont die and this way you have enough spatulas to get through the level^_^
