I cant figure out how to cover the spikes so Gary can walk over them, please help.

are your sure you have the right page because i have beaten the game and I don't remeber any part that you lead Gary.

If I am correct about where you are in this game you will need the Coral Blower to get Gary across. They are pretty much all over the area.
To equip the coral blower just go on it/over it. You FIRST must have a shell inside it. When you are around a shell press and hold the O button you will see it fill.

Just above the spike areas are rocks. Aim the blower by pressing and holding the square button on your controler. You will see an arrow appear. Direct the blower by using your arrow keypad then let go of the square button. You will have to locate yourself so that the shell will hit the rocks down. Hope this helps.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! IF YOU DONT DO THIS YOU WILL LOSE A LIFE! WHEN YOU GET THE CORAL BLOWER DO NOT FREE GARY! FIRST SHOOT DOWN ALL THE ROCKS TO COVER THE SPIKES. THEN WHEN YOU REACH GARY'S FOOD DISH NEXT TO ANOTHER WAL, IT IS SAFE TO GO BACK. FREE GARY AND HE'LL BE ABLE TO GET TO HIS FOOD AND YOU WON'T LOSE A LIFE..TRUST ME I DID IT AND IT WORKED^_^[b][/b]
