Celts?

You can't unlock them by completing the campaign, but you can unlock them with a simple mod.

Here it is:

You'll see some lists. One will have the beginning playable factions in it, the other will have the unlockable factions in it, and the last will have the unplayable factions in it. For BI just move the factions in the "nonplayable" list into the "playable" list. If you have patched the game to 1.6, then you can make any of the "nonplayable" factions playable.

If you haven't patched to 1.6, then only move the celts and berbers, because if you try to play as the lombardi, burgundi, or roxolani the game will crash.

There is a way to make those three factions playable if you're playing 1.4, but it's easier just to update to 1.6.

You can also do this in regular rtw, only slightly different. If you mod regular rtw, remember to not move the senate or the slaves factions, because those are really buggy and prone to crashing.

It's a text file so opening it really shouldn't be a problem? I can't imagine your problem?

Nope, as some factions are unable to be played as such as the Celts, and also you can unlock some factions just not the Barbarian Factions.

Technically, all the "playable" factions are available from the start in BI.

To be able to play as the Celts, Berbers, Roxolani, Burgundii, and Lombardi you have to modify the game.

uhh the Lombardi* are avaliable from the start without modding or patching I know coz they're one of the 4 faction that has berserkers in custom matches but how can

I build them in campaign???

I want my Lombard Berserkers to go nuts inside Rome when I kick the Huns out

EDIT: *sorry I got it wrong it's the Alemanni I'm reffering to but they have the same units as the Lombardi and the Burgundii so not that big a mistake really

If it doent open right clik then onto properties if it says read only untick it then apply
