Which did you think was the most "scariest" or the one that made you jump the most, Id have to say III

I'm currently playing the second one, but I have completed I and III.

Basing me on my personal experience with these three Project Zero games, I would say the first one had a more scarier atmosphere for me. The third one would come second in terms of "scarier" and the second last. Still, none of the games actually scared me, but I really enjoyed those ghost which designed were pretty well done and those dark and evil places where the games take place.

kinda late and no one's watching, but i didn't think any of them were scary. the only part i jumped at was in the second one, when a kid pops up at the window in the kiryu house. other than that, there were too many cute ghosts like kirie, the kiryu twins, chitose, or the handmaidens (just to name a few) for it to be scary.

i dont think any were scary really, but out of them all i think 2 hard the most moments that made you jump, especially in the sae chapter. 3 i think was bit harder, but not as jumpy.

Well... I'd have to say the first one. Just in terms of which game I am most scared of playing. It's true, I beat it once and ran away, never touching it again. ~I'm a wimp~

Shisei no Koe was really 'friendly' (can't think of the right word.) You play through a scary mansion for a little bit, and then you wake up, hang out with Miku, run around a well lit, cozy house, take showers, blah... Those little breaks diminished its scariness.

Akaichou didn't have that, but the fact that you were running around with someone else (even if that someone else is your limping, possessed, constantly running away twin sister) just made everything... 'nicer' (needs a dictionary).

But in the original Rei, Miku is trapped in one big mansion, its always dark, no one else is there to make you feel better... T-T Scary!

that part made me buy a new controller >,< i was so seriously looking for ghost and then that darn kid popped out! ^,^ scared the hell out of me heheheh

The only time the series ever scared me was when I played the original for the first time...in the dark... with the sound on high... when I was like 10... and still terrified of ghosts. Now... NONE of them seem all that scary...

yeah..first up to second time game play does that on most who play ff series..but as you get along the game play and unfold the stories yeah most of the the 2nd or 3rd time around they would not have the scare effect

Scariest... Maybe Project Zero III was the scariest, at least in psychological terms... You can run away from the world as much as you want, you can confine yourself to your house, you can even dare to turn off the lights and live under your bed, but when you know your dreams can be as destructive as anything in the real world; when you realize that your own subconcious can really engrave tattoos of your pain in your own skin, you know there is no escape; sooner or later, they will come, and when they come, the nightmare reigns, and you cannot control it...

That part startled the crap out of me, I was not expecting that at all.
I happened to be in that little cubby, and I drew my camera just because I was curious as to what the house looked like outside the window and BAM!

either FF2 or FF3 were the scariest. I didn't think FF3 was very scary because Rei's house broke up the intense parts. but FF2 and FF1 had no safe parts of the game. you were stuck in there with no way of getting out and no hope of being safe.
