ok...after Vargas joins your team and u fly over to Tohai to find Mr.K is where i am stuck. after i landed i fought a black keempfer and won, i then found Tohai and explored it. next i found Mr.K and there was the cut seen where the chick trys to fight Vargas, next Vargas talked to Mr.K and now i cant seem to find out what to do next. please hlp me!!!!!!

You will have to go back and explore Tohai again, go to the alley where Tremmie is and keep going, until you reach the dead end where a woman in green is seated next to a house, enter the house and talk to the boy, and you will know what to do next....

After you complete this mission come back and talk to this boy again, you will get something important.

thanks for the tip i'll try that, i was wondering aound for about 2 to 3 hours last night and didnt get anywhere. but i do know who u are talking about. i was afraid that i did something wrong and would have to start all over again.

Besides the following...

arseload of regen/repair kit
ditto for restorative drinks
always defend during Apsie's boost attacks
use the Beam field boost
powerful melee boost attacks! (like Fang's Gatling punch)?

Might depend on your mix of MS/pilots as well. I have Tremmie in a Gyan this go round, Fritz in a Hi-Zack, Tristan in a Gelgoog, Gavenger in a Guncannon, and Aeon in a Dom. Didn't use the Zack or Gyan last time but weaker suits instead.

Tristan is designed as a melee player. While he can be turned into an average range attack player, melee is easily his forte. I'd suggest tossing him in the Gyan.

I picked the Gelgoog when i was offered the chance. Though I was tempted to take the Gyan. Not that any of that maters now that I have the Gundam.

And thanks for the info Macphisto. The Beamfield helped a lot. I didnt know it could guard against boost attacks.

By the way you menchined fritz but he still isnt back in the game yet.

Yeah, I know melee is more Tristan's forte, but Tristan was due for a new MS and not a hand-me-down. I had him in the Gyan for a while, but Gelgoogs are Gelgoogs which worked well for me last time.

Nameless, I meant that's my current set-up as of where I am now on this second time through.

Beamfield will be a definite must against the next Dark Alliance general.

Oh, almost forgot. If you picked Gyan/Gelgoog, you can still buy data for either one at the black market. I forget, but a lot o' the items there are expensive. Could have sworn I found an Ecap L at Tohai though. If not, then must have been at the Sky Pirate base. ((I picked Gelgoog too)) I don't remember the data's being too uber expensive though.

Yeah, you really needed the beam field for the Bigzam. I kicked his ass once I got his timing down. But now my disc is messed up. When ever I try to enter the town Tremmie talked about the game goes Linda Blair on me.

And the Kaempher kicks so much ass.

On the subject of Kamfy', I get the feeling if I don't buy them 50 datas now, I won't have a chance to come back to the base and do it again until waaaaay later. Do you get a kamfy' no matter what at least once? (story given?) Or should I harvest zaku brain cores for selling and scrounging kamfy data before continuing the assault?

Yay! I got the game to work!

Yes you get a Keampher a little later in the game. But the Last dark Alliance boss is a very good time to stock up on anything you need. It will be a little while before you get access to any new weapons so get wit it while you can.

ATM I got the MK. II, Full Armor Gundam and my pimped up RX78.

I like how getting the Zeta Gundam is sort of a Crusade. I hope it kicks a lot of ass.

Oh, it does indeed. Do you have the Shiki yet? Heh, speaking of pimped out RX-78s... I have mine equipped with a power booster and dowadge thrusters.

BTW... what was in the locked boxes where there is the showdown with K? I'm getting close to the showdown with the Big Zam and haven't opened those.

Honestly I dont remember. But some stealths and head over to Wyvern-whatchamacallit. Theres only 2 boxes If i remember right.

how are you all using beam feild, my gavenger is always too slow in his dom. any help appreciated.
