Crew member's bodies (Spoiler if you haven't beat the game)

Ok, in the beginning of the game, there is a body covered in a sheet and Ann says he got hit by a rock and died instantly and he had pointed shoes and a blue and white stripped shirt, who is that guy? Is he a major character or just a random crew member?

Another thing is that in one level where your on a bridge and cross it to go into a cave and there's a sniper rifle crate lying there, theres another body laying next to the crate. Who's that guy? is that Choy? He was wearing a green t shirt and blue pants.


You know what guys, I played the game again last night and the sailors body that was covered with a sheet in the very beginning and the one that was by the sniper rifle crate is the exact same guy that got hit by the rocks in the beginning.His body must have been moved, maybe by a dinosaur, he had slash marks on him when he was by the crate and he also lost his hat. I got a chance to get a good look of him in the very first level when your in the boat and Hayes and the dead guy are rowing. So, the guy is not Lumpy or Choy, I guess it's just some random crew member. It's interesting though how the game included those type of things, it adds detail. Oh by the way, if you want to see the sailors body, of course it's in the second level, then it shows up again in "The Canyon" when you cross the bridge.

I expect more from you Zero' as you've been around here longer than Wise' has. Just looking at the post count difference tells you that (and I can check otherwise scenarios). Yeah, he double posted (which I merged), but instead of sarcastically bashing the guy for doing so, you should have added your basic comment on the subject and tell him how to edit the post. I know being an ass is a lot easier than taking the time to help somebody out, but it's not something i'll tolerate if I can help it.


As for the subject, game devers' usually will recycle a model if they've the chance to do so. IE: nearly all of the enemy soldiers in games like Metal Gear Solid /2/3 are the same basic models. sometimes you'll get wave after wave of the exact same enemy soldier attack you, as in other first person shooters. EA makes tons of FPS games, (Battlefield series, Medal of Honor series) and nearly all of them have cloned models. Though some of the Medal' games offer mix-up models, which are generated randomly to appear with slight differenecs from one another.

In this case I would assume they just copied the model and inserted it somewhere else to add more background imagery.

a venaetosaur, picked up a body, dragged it 10 levels a head dropped it next to a sniper rifle, and didnt eat it, the games just recycling matey
