Ok guys I am a noob, have had spore a while and played on and off but this is my first serious game.
Ok, right now I'm in a situation which pretty much mirrors the Romulan-Earth war. I am tucked away in my little corner of the galaxy with 6 or so other Civs known to me. Got attacked by a "Spode Civ." My allies, who are a very powerful civ, got attacked by another Spode civ. I defended them and the situation spiralled into war. I eventually developed another alliance.However, the Spode civs got a friend as well, as the "Mamos Empire" joined the conflict. Up until then the war was not taking a heavy toll but now it is getting dangerous. The Mamos empire seem to be technologically superior, despite my recent health, energy and weapon upgrades. I tried paying my aliies to invade them but all those invasions were repulsed. The Mamos empire started raiding my homeworld, so I decided to change tactics and instead go for an all-out invasion of the Spoders, so I could focus on the Mamos empire. I wiped the first one out with relitave ease; the second empire is putting up stiffer resistance but are crumbling against the combined might of both the Benites (my emire) and the Grrrrrrrman Empire (local superpower, my allies, second most advanced in the area.
However, my homeworld has now been reduced to two cities. The thing is with even numbers my fleet may be able to beat them, but when they come in force (which they always do) I can't hold them off. I don't want to lose my homeworld and I'm out of ideas. Am I out of options? If not please give me some!
