Q: What is Spore?
A: Spore is a Massive Single Player Online Role Playing Game developed by Maxis in 2008.

Q: What means Massive Single Player Online Role Playing Game?
A: It means that Spore's not World of Warcraft. In Spore, you use the internet only to :

• Register your game
• Create & Share Spores
• Create & Subscribe to Sporecasts

Q: Ok, I've installed the game. How do I register it?
A: This should be done automaticaly when you 1st open the game. If you receive an error, your firewall might block the game's acces to the network.

Q: What is a Spore?
A: In game, Spores are Cells/Creatures/Vehicles and even Spaceships!

Q: What is a Sporecast?
A: A collection of Spores created by someone. If you subscribe to one, the current Spores in the Sporecast will appear in your game.



Q: Ok, I've created a new game, I have named a planet and now I'm a cell swimming in the water.
A: Your goal in the cell stage is to eat* and collect new parts.

• Meat and other Cells if you're a Carnivore cell.
• Plants if you're a Herbivore cell.
• Plants & Meat if you're a Omnivore cell.

Q: WTF? A BIG CELL ATE ME?
A: Bravo! That's your first epic encounter. Epic cells eat you. Stay away from them.

Q: What? A cell poisoned me?
A: Yes, different cells have different parts. Killing those cells will grant you they're unique parts.

Q: So, I got a few parts but how do I put them on my cell?
A: Press [Spacebar] then go to your mate and so you will enter the Creature Editor. This also works in Creature Stage.

CREATURE FAQ'S

Q: Ok, so now I'm a creature... what do I do now?
A: Befriend other creatures or exctinct them.

Q: How do I befriend a creature?
A: Click the green "chat-bubble" looking like button and then go to a creature and click it. It should start doing one of this things:

• Sing
• Dance
• Pose
• Charm

Then, you have to use the same thing to befriend it.

Q: How do I extinct a creature?
A: Well, you extinct it's species. Click on the red button and attack a number of creatures until you see them going to the sky.
Attacks are:

• Bite (weak but has small cooldown)
• Charge (use from afar to stun a creature)
• Strike (very powerful but has a high cooldown)
• Poison (small damage + damage over time)

Q: My species migrated, what do I do now?
A: Go to your new nest. You will receive a few DNA points.

TRIBAL STAGE FAQ'S

Q: What do I do here?
A: Tribal stage is the easiest stage in Spore. Ally/Attack other tribes and gather food. Be sure to have plenty of food and don't go to attack the others without a primitive weapon.

Q: The other tribes hate me... what can I do?
A: Give them a gift. And then start to sing for them.

That's all... Tribal Stage is easy!



Q: What means Economic, Religious and Military?
A: * Economics buy other cities. (safest way)

• Religious convert other cities.
• Military conquer other cities.

Q: How do I make money?
A: Your cities and Spice Derricks constantly give you money. Make sure to have the buildings in your city placed for max-spice production.

Q: What are vehicles?
A: There are 3 types of vehicles:

• Land - It's like a car. Used to make trade routes/convert/conquer other cities.
• Water - It's like a boat. Same as above.
• Air - It's like an airplane, goes everywhere.

After you gain 6 cities you have acces to Air vehicles.
After you get 10 cities you go into the...



The space stage is the widest par of Spore. You can explore the universe.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to continue this guide so... Space stage should help you.
