Is anyone, apart from me, still playing this game? If so, do you experienced players have some tips to make this game even more fun to play?

CM97/98 rules, the best one ever.

To make the game eternally fun you need to update teh player database. the most recent update i can find is for the 2001 season

so i myself usually update my players/teams file each season. howe3ver i uninstalled the game a couple of years back so im looking to re-edit the database - long.

nothing beats updated cm97/98. you can reel off 1-3 seasons a day!!!

Absolutely!!! This is by far THE greatest game of all time, nevermind just football game. However I am still on the lookout for someone out there, there has to be someone, who has an up to date patch with all new players.

This game is by far the best Championship Manager or Football Manager game ever created.

I've had it since it first came out, I've never gotten bored with it [although I have punched the screen once or twice ] .

I'm now playing as Aston Villa, and I've just won my 8th league title in a row. It never gets old.

there is a update that brings it up to 06/07 Season. its an amazing update to the last great championship manager game before it became to anal. type CM Unity in google and download from there and say goodbye to your social life.
