Edit: Everyone, the wiki is up and ready! We've got the necessary cats for the stuff Dragoon laid out earlier, and I've set up all of the templates. There was a little snag in my planning that ruined something, but I worked around it. The syntax is a bit more complicated right now, but it's either that or making everything clumped together.

If any of you need help with the layout of pages, I'll get to that soon! You can all go free-will, but if you'd like an explanation of the templates, I can give that as well. Some of the templates have a specific purpose and can ONLY be used for that purpose.

Dragoon - True, but they need to know they exist to use them, especially for Cat and Episode.

Then just mention they exist, there are explanations on the templates pages that clues people in.

Wanted to go ahead and let you know that you can pretty much do the pages how you guys have been taught. I'm trying to figure out layout for certain pages right now, and I honestly only have a few things planned. ^^; If any of you want to make a few pages to pick out of, that'd be awesome!

I just wanted to bring something up with you all, so please take some time to read this message. With this being one of the first wikis to be made via the CreateWiki function we have now implemented that has been approved entirely by the community, the level of activity (or thereby lack of) that the wiki is seeing is... well, bad. I understand that some of you have other site permissions that take priority or are busy irl but not all of you can be that busy that you can't take half an hour max out of your day to add information to it, surely? By clicking that 'I support' button you are then basically telling us that you are going to contribute for an elongated period of time on that wiki, at least for a period of 30 days. That is the level of commitment we assumed of you when you pressed that button. I understand Disillusioned is moving so her inactivity is understandable and Cyanide has been busy with irl stuff but for the others it's deplorable in all honesty. Yes I know this is a voluntary 'position' but that doesn't mean you can neglect it. You all promised to contribute and so far, I'm not seeing anything from any of you other than Symphonic Abyss and the occasional edit from Justin.

I don't want to harp on about this but come on guys, it isn't exactly good. I've promoted myself to staff to try and get more activity on the wiki (by request of Symphonic Abyss). You're all brilliant contributors and members and it's a shame to see that none of you care all that much. It's just not good enough. I hate having to even remind you guys of this, but this new system isn't going to work if people aren't prepared to put the effort in. You can only get out as much as you put in.

Sorry for being a total douchebag about this, but it's sad to see a wiki with so much potential be tossed aside and left to one or two contributors.

Please say that you mean the part about deletion, I have been asking for that for quite some time now. Definitely overdue.

The only problem we face with this is that we have to consider the amount of contributions lost from the deletion of wikis. I can understand the deletion of some of the Neutral or Graveyard wikis but anything above that would need to be dealt with objectively and with a great deal of consideration.

Dragoon, I don't think Redemption or tekmosis would really be up for deleting anything more than that to be completely honest. Going through the list, there are easily over 20 that should be deleted without consequence and at least 10 of those shouldn't have been created in the first place. EVERY wiki at the level of "Wiki In Progress Lvl 3" or lower should be deleted (at this point, it wouldn't even make sense to archive the data because of how little there is).

Although this idea may seem somewhat counter-intuitive, I also think there should be a better screening process for the creation of wikis. Instead of having the "extremely complicated and convoluted" Wikiguides, there should be "mock-wikis" for every CreateWiki made that way you can see upfront what kind of contributions will be made while also ensuring that the involved parties understand what must be done for a wiki. After a month, you make a decision to either move that to a full wiki or to let the idea die for at least another 3 months. These wikis should also be "unlisted" (so to speak) on the WikiList page.
