The border thickness being different on different sides in Chrome has to do with the border style, I believe (inset, outset, solid, etc.). The LV capitalization and border thickness aren't final--I just needed to start with something, so I threw them in; they can be changed later. I did the whole thing in like 20 minutes. The main thing to be considering was the overall layout of the pokemon images, names, levels, moves, encounters, etc.

Hey guys!

If any of you have the time, I've got a job for you. I need people to start collecting every single Pokémon sprite, and possibly every single Trainer sprite as well, from every generation. If you can get one generation from one source, that'd be even better. I know this is a lot to suddenly spring on you, but you'll understand when the universal template is 100% complete. It'll allow me to start changing the code and such, and the more matching filetypes for each Pokémon, the better.

Right now, I'm creating Template:Image, which takes the Pokémon's name and works with the number and everything. An example template can be found on my sandbox. None of the images on that page (except for Miror B.) use a direct image link to appear. This makes it so that you don't have to look up the number and stuff when you're creating a page. For example:

{{Image|Ludicolo|Colosseum}}

would produce:

[[Image:272ColoXD.png]]

and everything in the name section is created by that same code. Basically, we've removed a parameter to make the template overall a lot easier to use for people like me who haven't memorized the PokéDex. ;D Just wanted to point this out.

So, in short, filling in poke1= as poke1=Ludicolo on the ColoXDTrainer template would get you the name Ludicolo, and its image.

I haven't tested this out yet, but I'm pretty sure the correct code would be {{Image|Snivy}} or {{Image|Snivy|}}.

Right now, those aren't coded in. I'm only at #450 iirc. They will be done soon though! Stick with using the normal Image code for now, as some of the Sinnoh and none of the Unova Pokémon are programmed in yet.

So, for Pokémon, we need all games except Stadium 1&2, and PBR iirc. For trainers, we need them from EVER game, and those would go under:

Gen II: Name2.file (only if it's the same in all three games)

If I'm missing any from either list, please let me know! I know I'm missing a few, but I'm not sure which ones exactly. My goal here is to make the overall usage of the wiki easier for both veterans and newcomers, and to do this, I need the images set up in a certain format each time.

Ah, yeah, I completely forgot about the sprites being different for those games...if that happens please title the things Number1A (or whatever the Gen is), or Name1A, and so on so forth. That way we can easily work with stuff like that.

Edit: The main post has been updated with that information.

Edit2: Eon80, it turns out not all of the GenV stuff has been uploaded. I'm not sure where it stops, but I think it's somewhere in the 300s. I've gotten the template updated up to Emboar, and with some testing, this will create the Snivy image when Snivy's image is uploaded.

Edit3: Hoorah for late edits! DreamCrafter, would you mind PMing me that site that you had all of those images on? I know there was some place that I got the fifth gen Pokémon sprites, and it was either there or Bulbapedia. I got the mini sprites from you, I know that, but I'm not too sure about the others.

The template looks good to me. I wonder if there's a way to implament something similar for other Gym Leaders and Elite Four pages? Levels would have to be included because the maingames don't match levels in Gym/Elite Four battles.

Wanted to bring this back. I can make something for you, but forget what I said earlier. ColoXD won't work with that as long as the images are set up the way they are. It'd be a simple change, but...yeah. I can set one up though when you need one, so just drop me a PM or notify my here and I'll do that.

When you need one, just tell me the details as to what you need. From what I can think that you'll need, here's a test template code.

Every trainer can have up to six Pokémon on there, and you can have up to...16 battles I believe was the first amount, but I think we made it to where it's pretty much up to infinity until the servers blow up.
