Videos wont convert....

I used IMToo DVD ripper to rip my DVD to my PC, on the iPod video setting (.mp4), but when I import it into iTunes it has the "Convert to iPod format" option. iTunes will let me sync this one to it, but it will not play,just gives a black screen. When I do convert videos, they lose the sound, but the image can be viewed fine. Also .mov files will not play on it!?

Help would be greatly appreciated..

Well if you have problems I find Fair Use Wizard is rather slow but works well. Search it up on google if you need it.
