You can transfer songs from ipod to your pc.
its very simple and straight forward.

YES YOU CAN... i see post after post day after day on how you get music from your iPod onto your PC and people keep saying it can't be done BUT IT CAN BE DONE.

I have done this a number of times now (having a crap external hard drive doesn't help). All you do is copy all the "F" folders from your iPod (using windows explorer) onto your PC and use Realplayer to scan your PC for music, after a short while all your music will apear in RealPlayer but the will all be named with a four letter name e.g. EXKG. if you have tagged all your music correctly you can highlight all your music in RealPlayer and click on tools, change names. again after a short while RealPlayer will scan through and change all the names of your tracks and sort them into Artist - Album Title and hey presto all your music is back on your computer, all tagged and sorted into relevant folders with in Windows Explorer. I have done this many times so i know it works, if you done believe me try it for yourself.

I have asked once before if this solution can be made sticky due to the number of people asking how they get their music from their iPod to their computer... MAKE IT STICKY PLEASE.

I have no idea why people would go into such trouble to transfer music from ipod to PC. There is a much easier way.

1) Burn mp3 files onto CD-R or CD-RW.
2) rip songs off disk into another player.

Since a 650MB disk can hold over 100 songs, and costs about 50 cents each if bought in bulk pack, I personally do it this way.

or use a dvd to back up the music or a blu-ray disc 25gb anyone?
