	Log in to remove this sponsored message Is the iPod plug and play? This is, when I plug it to my PC with the USB connector, the Windows XP will detect it as a removable disk drive without even installing any iPod software or driver?

	Im not sure about the iPod 20gig but the mini and the 60gig are. It automatically opens a folder but it says in the manual something about you have to do something before you can use it as a drive. -------------------

	Hard drives work without rebooting too. 	Yes iPod is plug and play. But it may require some time for the Removeable Disk Driver to set up the iPod with your computer on the first try. ~ Sintaku -------------------

	Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that the iPods came Mac formatted, which would mean you would have to Windows format it. -------------------
