Welp, looks like handheld gaming is dead. Sorry Nintendo, you and your tens of millions of sales are now endangered of being overrun by minute long games and Sony...well your already dead so no loss there.

That aside will it at least come up 1 new innovative feature? When was the last time they really made anything innovative themselves? bleh.

Best. I really hope they add some sort of a feature to this new device that makes it worth it, tbh they haven't outdone themselves since the i4. I'm going to skip this event and just read the headlines afterwards. I've always called the iPad an iPhone on steroids.

VeGiTAX2, I think "haters gonna hate" really does apply to a lot of Apple news though. They successfully push forward formerly niche markets into a mass market and profit from their successes before competitors are able to cut in on a price basis. They clearly did something right if they were able to sell 84 million iPads since the initial release two years ago.

Redemption, I don't think that Best Buy ever had or has plans to stock the Nexus 7. Is it not possible to order it from Google Play (or some other online retailer) to get delivered in Canada?

The fact that Apple fanboys have used it for ages to write-off stolen patents and anti-competition practices (ebooks) makes it a useless statement. If Apple patents right mouse clicking right now and sues every company for it in a year we'll see the droves come in going "haters gonna hate" as if that means something. The fact that most of these same people have little knowledge or actual interest of how this company does business makes their defense essentially worthless and as brain numbing as the marketing pitches are.

This isn't 2002, even in 2002 calling someone a hater was tacky and in poor taste because of the general origins to the statement.

Either way this isn't a revolution or innovation, it's just a way to extend their sales for the holiday season with the iPad 3 gathering too much dust for their liking and iOS6 at the forefront of their spin. You now have 4 i products to twist in the market allowing for either bi-annual upgrades or quarterly if they really want. They've had their declaration of victory running since the iPhone came out and despite the high volume of fart applications they never secured the same experience. Given Sony has no plans to bring their cross compatible vita binaries to iOS they're unable to even secure that.

Bravo to them making another platform to market when things slow down, it's not much more than that for the company though despite whatever spin they put on it. A mid-annual hardware refresh and a chance to capture a market they don't have hands on yet.

It makes me sick to think about, but everybody knows that the mobs with iphone 5s and Ipads will come out in droves to buy this thing. And what exactly is it? A larger iphone? A smaller Ipad?

If it doesn't add any innovation or anything new, why would anybody be impressed by this? I really just don't get it. If any other company did this sort of stuff, people would throw a fit.
