I've only had it for 2 days and I haven't gotten it wet or dropped it or anything like that. ------------------- I already know my threads are stupid. No point in reminding me.

	Try Restoring it if you haven't already. Also, when you try to turn it on, do any icons appear on the iPod's screen?

	Plug your iPod into your computer and open up iTunes (if it doesn't open by itself). Go to the source panel and click on your iPod. 	Well the apple site says you should try leaving it unplugged for about 24 hours and try again but since it's fairly new I'd probably bring it in to have it exchanged. It isn't that rare when apple ships out a bad iPod. My first shuffle was a dud and my friend's first iPod Video was a bust. Just a quick question though; did you unplug the iPod from your computer without disconnecting it in iTunes? I think I'm just going to exchange it since it's new. I really dont know what happened. 	Pushing any button should turn it on. Holding the center button and menu should reset it. I don't think holding play and center does anything. 	Okay, I fixed it. I toggled the Hold button on and off about 7 times and I held the center and menu button from around 30 to 50 seconds. ------------------- I already know my threads are stupid. No point in reminding me.

	I bought a new nano, took it home, it had the same problem. Nothing happens. I did everything apple's website recomended. Finally I called the 1-800#. I went through a lot of steps with a computer(which did not fix my problem) I finally talked to Michelle @ apple. After uninstalling and reinstalling everything, she tells me I have a problem with the nano.(which is just 4 hours old to me) At some point she did mention the words "massive recall" I have taken the unit back and swapped it with another one. well it does not work either. I will return this one also. With gas at 3+ bucks a gal. this nano is goin south quickly. John
