	Try going into iTunes and select the "Transfer Purchases From iPod" option. Also take a look at this article.

	Well, just connect the iPod as usual. And then, go to the folder settings, and show the hidden folders. 	the ipod songs are in a hidden folder so you have to get your computer to display hidden files and folders and the songs also have crazy names so i would not do that because it its a pain in the but to have to rename the songs you can get a freeware program called idump that will transfer music from ipod it was on cnet download .com just search for it
