Strongest Single Character

Please don't call him Lazlo. That's a horrendous name.

I think that's the second time Stevo has complained about that, that I have seen. Getting a bit repetitive there.

I wouldn't know who is the strongest, or my favourite as I am yet to get the title. Is it out in Australia yet?

No it's not. It's a name that the author of the Suikoden IV novel chose to call him because he didn't want to call him "Hero IV" throughout the whole book. Much like Tir and Riou, Konami has NOT officially adopted or sanctioned the name. It's no different then us naming him something when we play the game.

It doesn't actually. Just like Tir and Riou, it's written in the Japanese Suikoden novelization.

i dont know about the strongest but i think that Tristan deserves mentioning because of his defense. i put him on the armored kangacorn(dont know if i spelled that right)and then gave him all my best defensive equipment and the mother earth sword rune and as long as he was on his element few people could do more than 1 damage to him and his attack and HP were pretty good to.

What kind of strength are we talking here? Pure DMG? Highest STR stat? Survivability?

If we're talking damage, then I think Kyril takes the cake because of his 3x rune ability. Normal attacks would probably have to go to Karl, especially if it's a cross-counter.

If we're talking about characters who you can send alone to clear out the whole level, I'd have a hard time choosing between Karl, Kika, Sigurd, Mizuki, and Kate from the top of my head. All of these characters (and some others I'm sure, just can't remember ATM) can solo any level that doesn't have a golem on it or other misc. BS attacks like [SPOILER]Fishkas'[/SPOILER] simply because they can't be hit and can move enough to interrupt most spells while dealing good damage be it by normal attacks or by rune.
