I was thinking about this today, I always have started the majority of my Master Leagues by using the default players Castolo, Minanda etc.. When I look around this forum and other forums though it seems that alot of people either make their own teams or start with the normal players from the team that they control.

I was thinking is it even much of a challenge then really? I thought everyone started with the default players.

Just want to know everyones opinions and how they start their Master Leagues....

The first master league I started with Arsenal and I just did it to get to grips with the demands of the game and such. I'm now in 2014 and its actually quite difficult to find decent players. If you've ever played Champ Manager with the fake players (the setting when you start up) that's sort of what its like.

It did however start to get a little boring so I recently started a new one with a created team and I just picked random players (albeit rather good ones). However I forgot about their massive wage demands and I found myself having to pay 22000 for their wages at the end of the year, whilst starting the season with 10000.

I've managed to win the league and meet the wage demands but I havent been able to sign anyone worth talking about and I still have very little money with now something like 23000 to pay at the end of this season so that's a bit of a challenge in itself.

It's not the most difficult but it's interesting, as I promised myself not to buy any player that I had in my first master league so it's good to try out other players and systems. What about yourself?

I usualy startith my own made team and put in a lot of good players young and old so far my team is this:

I Do All of the Following:
Create a Teams of my Mates to play as
Play as West Ham Default
Start as Foque and Stein etc and call it Shrewsbury

I always set up a completely new team; "Not much of a challenge"? Not for me, I don't use top class players in my team, just average ones, mainly youth players with a high future potential.

i did the mates one, but i always get bored of playin wiv same players, i mite pick it up again me thinks...

I nearlly always start with the default players (Castolo, Minanda etc.) because it's a challenge and more fun than making your own team of really good players.

Yeah I think I agree with you... its frustrating sometimes though trying to get players that don't cost much because you need plenty of them to fill the positions.

I mean I bought good young players but sometimes that doesn't get you anywhere because they ain't good to start with and you don't have any decent players at first.

I've never playes ML with the default players... But i always choose one of the weakest teams and try to make the best team of it. I buy decent players with great potential, but i dont buy the real STARS like Ronaldinho, C. Ronaldo, Adriano. It gets to easy with that players. I also buy my favourite players, although they arent very good, it doesnt matter to me oh, and i also keep the decent players of the original team

Is there a limit when adding players to a created team. Because I try and get most of the Arsenal team and I can't get more than about 10 of them. The team doesn't have 32 players (the max) and I can get other players. Please help.

Go to "List" then delete the Ivarov, Valeny, Jaric, Castolo, Minanda etc players then you can add some more players

But if you want to play the ML with Arsenal, just select the option to play with real squads?

I usually start with default players and call the team cork city or shelbourne. during the ml i have a regulation where i only allow 1 in 3 players max to be classic. i also insist on a minimum of 1 in 3 players in my squad to be irish. this is to keep it interesting.
