Scoring a goal does feel much better when it's actually you scoring it. I think it feels more of an acheivement even if the computer scores a goal for your team, you start to feel like you're really in the team. You feel like the daddy when you play a quality through ball to put your team-mate in on goal.

I don't understand how to "turn on" this feature. You do it from the formation settings screen right? I can't find it anywhere! Could someone explain?

You start a match in ML season, and then press 'start', go to player settings, and press L1 and the stting will change to 'Fix' mode (it will say so where it origanally says 'Manual'), and then press sqaure and choose the player you want to play with, hope thats cleared it up a bit

You do it from the screen before you select your teams in Exhibition.Where you see the options to turn GK Cursor on and change Curor Speed,change the cursor speed until it says Fixed

2 questions.On ML,can you change which player you control between each match?Also,what happens when you substitute the player you are controlling?Do you get a different player?Thanks

BS, you can change the player you control at any time. Simply go to player settings and press square, you can then change who you're controlling. If you sub the player you are controlling, you will need to change player if you want to carry on playing.

Ohhhh I absolutely love playing this way, me and my mates usually end up staying up til early hours in the morning trying to win cups with each of us having a fixed player. Its really challenging and the best players shine... I think the key is awareness, out of my mates without being big headed I am probably by far the best because I know where to move and I always want the ball but i can pick the passes. I'm not really too fussed about scoring goals but I do normally take free kicks, penalties, corners etc.

I love it when my mate runs around pressing r1 all the time and hes energy bar thingy is gone after 30mins and mines still half full at the end and I still manage to get Man of the Match.

Does anybody use the camera type that follows P1? Or just use your default settings?

If you scroll through on Camera Settings during the game your can change the angle and wether you follow the player you are controlling or the ball. I just thought some people may follow thier fixed player. Does anybody? I haven't tried it out myself though.

is there anyway i can have it where i create me and have me in the default master league team squad (macco,hamsun e.t.c)??

Yes, just add your self to the team after you have clicked on 'Create New Team'. This'll mean you have to make kits, badge, etc though.

I think the only way you can start a Master League with you (created player) in the team is to choose the Create Original Team option. However, you could just start with the default players, wait until the first transfer window, offer yourself a favourable contract and take yourself on! You won’t have to pay a transfer fee, only a salary (albeit it an unreasonably high one). Be careful with this though, you want to get the ‘you’ character on board during the first week of negotiations. I made the mistake of offering myself a measly wage to see if I would take it – the ‘me’ character turned it down and went to play for Liverpool! God knows how that happened. I had forgotten until I actually played against Liverpool and they surprised the hell out of me by bring ‘me’ on as a sub!

As for the player cam, I’ve tried it once and it actually made me feel sick. It’s a nice idea but they didn’t really think it through, it swings about all over the place. Bottom line – don’t bother!
