Hardware requirements?

Hello, I tried playing Episode One but it just
runs too poorly with alot of stuttering. The PC
I am playing on is an Acer 2 ghz, 512 mb ram with
an nvida graphics card. Is this PC not powerful enough
or what can I do?

I played HL2 and it ran OK but with some minor stuttering, long loading times, and also ran poorly with many moving
objects at the same time. But I realy enjoyed playing it,
and I hoped I could play Episode One as well.

re: Hardware requirements?

what graphics card is it? You need 1GB of RAM at least! EP1 is alot more high spec than HL2.

Yeah, HL2:E1 takes more to run than HL2. You can lower the screen resolution or turn down the detail levels in order to make it run faster.
