The Suffering TTB: Currupted pixels shaders/light maps??

hi im having some graphical problems with the suffering ties that bind. The main
problem is the light-maps or pixel-shaders of the game are all glitchy. Objects,
characters and scenery spontaneously become become illuminated whilst all other
objects, characters and scenery remain drab, almost completely devoid of colour.
The flashlight also does work in the game, turned on it has no apparent effect,
infact all light sources in the game have no effect on any surface. Theres seems
to be no colour on any surface nor effect from any light source, and when an
object does appear illuminated by light-maps as it should being a totally random
occurence, not caused or even effected by any lightsource in the game.

I've tried a few things to correct this problem, the following has not worked:
* re-installing the game
* Updating all drivers (ie. video card, direct x and sound drivers)
* Trying a myriad of different video options in set-up, every possible
combination has been exhaused including changing the resolution, pixel shaders
on/off, shadows on/off, sound acceleration on/off: EVERYTHING
*adjust monitor properties extensively and the games gamma level

basically everything i can do.

could you please tell me how to correct this problem? or direct me to someone/a
company who can?
or is there a patch on the way to correct this massive glitch?
a response of any kind would be much appreciated. thank you.

*note.
i have xp with service pack 2
nvidia drivers 81.95
direct x 9.0c
