I'm stuck on level 6. there is a thing hovering above me, i try to jump to the next bit of land but i fall and lose my life. can someone please help!!!

You defeat the hovering thing by reflecting its fire. You have to move around a bit as it only seems to work at a certain angle.
However, I'm also stuck on the jumping to the next section - I've tried jumping, double jumping, running and jumping but my guy always falls and dies.

Somebody please help!

if u can see somthing that looks like it would slice you, dice you and scatter the ashes, jump on it. it may look like a moving cheesegrater, but its a fan. it will send you flying i the direction it's pointing. u need any more help, describe it and ill help u out.

To kill anything, specifically right now the flying discs - you have to not only block the fire but DEFLECT IT, to deflect the fire you just press down R(Block) and keep on pressing A(Attack) and it will automatically deflect the fire where it came from.
