Time to clear this up with awkward sounding words.

Sho typically means many.

Different clans are referred to as ryu, also a word for dragon.

Ever notice the word ken is always in Japanese words relating to swords such as boken, kenjutsu and kendo?

In the end sho-ryu-ken very roughly becomes "Many clan/dragon swords".

Ha-do-ken is similar. Ha is edge of, do means to react or counter and ken is sword.

You get "edge counter sword". NOT fireball. Fireball would be like kajimari.

What was the other one? Tatsumaki sempuu kyaku? Tatsumaki is two words that do mean tornado when combined. Kyaku means hardship or ytouble. Sempu/u...no sweet clue.
