Are they just making fun of Metroid? Making spin-off arcade games is for things like Mario and Kirby not METROID! whats next Riddley-ware or Samus's Mansion?

It's called milking a franchise. Let's just hope that it's fun.

I'd agree with him, even if it's a fun game it's just gonna grow into even more of a franchise and Metroid will be less and less unique, possibly morphing all potential future releases into popularized crap...

Classic Metroid was so full of character and uniqueness and now they're mainstreaming Metroid like most other games are. It seriously angered me when they put it into First person...

What the hell is Metroid in first person? Metroid was a jump-exploration game that played with the potentials of 2D graphics! That was what it build itself on, granted they did Prime well, but I wished it weren't Metroid.

I also miss the 2D games. But now that the DS can do first person, I doubt that we will see another.

That would be a sad, sad, cold day.

you gotta admit this is going too far, zero mission was one thing but this... this is blasphemy,

besides.. its twice as fun to play 3D pinball for windows!
i mean it, it is..

lets just hope that it ends up on a discount rack for $15 sometime in the near future so that we get mini-pinball machines to take with us to the box socials

also.. if we're lucky enough we may see a sequel to metroid fusion sometime in the near millenium, its something to hope for, the 2D ones were great.. the original metroid.. pwned.. my batteries are dead for it though so i cant save
