Definitely a good game, one of my favourites in fact. I could always build a civilisation, watch the fall of pretty much every empire, and I'd never get tired of it ------------------- | |

Get the Gold Edition (try eBay) because you also get the expansions (BtS is the greatest expansion known the man) -------------------

All I remember was that it made my laptop whirr around a lot becuase I always got to the point where I had 400-500 workers on the HUGE map, and with no other civilisations whatsoever, so turn after turn the only thing that was happening was the workers were building rail ways, and cleaning up pollution (wish they'd do that in reality)... ------------------- | |

Civ III and IV (haven't played the earlier ones) are both really addicting... my laptop can't really keep up in the later stages of this game though. | |
