Nintendo have now updated their website with a brief summary of what Pokemon XD will be like:

Could I add that if you need any Pokemon advice or information please PM someone, don't put it on the board, otherwise it would clutter up with loads of little threads with only a few posts in each is a bit of a waste in my opinion...

The E3 trailer for Pokemon XD is available to download or stream at IGN. It's avery good trailer indeed!

I have some more info(actually, more than I have for Diamond and Pearl....). Images involved, sorry to those with slow connections....

-Like in Colosseum, you have a Snag Machine, although this one looks different than the first. Known snaggable Pokemon: Teddiursa and Lugia(?)

-The title Pokemon is an extremely evil looking black Lugia. Whether he's just a fancy "Dark" or a new Pokemon, who knows...?


-Your first Pokemon is Eevee, and you either choose what it'll evolve into, or it goes automatically according to your actions in the game, I'm not sure.


-You go along with your younger sister, Mina.


-Munchlax is somewhere in the game.

I really can't answer that until the Japanese version is released and we have more info.

~ Pokemon XD stands for 'Xtra Dimension'
~ It looks like Cipher the bad guys from Pokemon Colloseum will be returning to cause trouble in this game.
~ Judging by a few of the screenshots it looks probable that their will be wild battles in this game and not just trainer battles.

is this coming out or not in europe if it is can some one tell me the release date in europe

There is no European release date that has been confirmed at the moment but I presume that we may see it in stores this Christmas, though we may have to wait for it until early 2006.

You can catch Parasect(crab with a huge mushroom on)and Krilian(the poke`mon that kid catches in ruby/sapphire)
