	No, you must register your Credit/Debit card, and buy it with money, not microsoft points. Xbox live doesn't renew after a year, once your annual subscription is over, you must renew it if you want to keep it.

	ok thanks.... i thought it did renew automatically, i might aswell jus get a prepaid card thing again seen as i got 2 go in 2 town soon anyways....

	i thought so.... but i wasn't sure.... i dont want it 2 charge me automatically when its due 2 renew so i think gettin a prepaid card thing wud b best....

	You can set it so that it charges you automatically, but it doesn't force you too either way. If you have it set so that it doesn't, when the 12 months has passed, it automatically becomes a Silver account unless you renew it.
