Today is Launch Day in Europe (Page 3 for unit figure update) - Page 7

Well, as I say, I probably won't be playing til Christmas at the earliest. Got assignments to do, and even over Christmas, exams to revise for.

Just checked play.com and my order now says 'awaiting stock'.

Ah well, I'm sure I can find some way to pass the time...

GAME opened at 7.00 in the morning. I reached there at 7:20. I reached the counter at 8:00. I got my premium pack with PDZ and now I'am typing from my house before I go college .

Got my one to day and it is *bleeping* awesome.

Ive checked my email and Gameplay has sent all of the stuff i have ordered, and that was yesterday i should get it today but the postman hasnt come yet, dam postmans always late

Yeah i know i am really impatient when it comes to games lol, but i think i should get them today since i did pay an extra £5 for next day delivery for the 360 and an extra £1 for all the games, I'll just continue to stare out of my window waiting for the postman......

Totally got it. Stood one hour in line. But I have no games, though

Every shop is sold out, and my play.com preorder is on 'Awaiting Stock'.

So probably no 360 for me this Christmas.

Currys didn't get 62 in as promised, so I have no Xbox 360, however, they have guaranteed it will be here by christmas, if it is, nothing lost, as it was a christmas present after all. So neither me or my three pre-ordering mates got one on launch, heh.
My HMV-ordering mate isn't getting his till easter!
My mate who works at Asda was told that the store is not allowed to keep consoles back even for employees, even though he was told the opposite two months ago, so he's up shit creek without a preorder.
Third Xbox-ordering mate preordered his from Currys a couple of months after me, and his is also guaranteed for christmas, so Currys either are flat-out lying now, or they are getting a quite subsantial amount in.

All in all, not the best console launch we've had.
