A nice review, I have been undecided about this game as other reviews have been pretty murky about the horror/action balance, this review makes it clear that as a fan of the series i should probably wait for a price drop so I can finish the story without feeling let down.

The last boss of the game is a serious joke, to be honest. I mean, I won't deny that I had a ton of fun with this game, playing it with a friend. But on solo, it was so tedious, and even in co-op, we laughed at some of its terrible design elements and bad writing. If Visceral and EA want to make a great action game, fine, but I think my biggest issue is definitely with how they're keeping it in between.

Dat ending though. Still not sure if I like it or not; didn't factor this into my review, because it's a more subjective matter.
