	Call Microsoft and either update your credit card or have them remove your credit card information from your account and disable the autorenewal. I prefer not to have my credit card tied to my account. 	To be fair, it is kind of stupid how they do it. They could just downgrade you to Silver, but instead they suspend your account entirely. IIRC, you have to unplug your ethernet cord just to play on your account offline. I think that's what Jamesy was saying, not that he wanted to play multiplayer online despite not paying or whatever. -------------------

	I have like ten 3 month cards I got last Black Friday for like $7 each. I only activate them when I am really playing online again. 	Kids these days? None of you obviously understand the problem? My gold expired which is fine, but I can't access Live to renew my account. They want me to add a credit card to my account before I can just sign in as a silver member. And even when I do add a credit card, it tells me there is a problem with the marketplace? What has that even got to do with it? -------------------

	sorry, i thought you were complaining like 90% of kids do on here because their Gold ran out and their mommy wont renew it. if youre having a legit problem, then call MS, as we cant really help much in that area. good luck man.

	Yeah I had that problem before. Just call Microsoft. Tell them to remove whatever credit card information is tied to the account and just buy prepaid cards at gamestop or whatever store is in your area. 	i had this happen to me about a month ago... eventually it will just revert to silver... i wasn't able to purchase "premium content" and other things... then one day i signed in and everything was back to normal except my account was silver
