Sounds pretty cool, and it's good to hear that it supports more than just WP7.

I know from experience, on Windows 8, you can control your 360 remotely. It was cool, but kind of pointless when it's easier to pick up a controller instead.

Bumping this. I don't know who has an iDevice or not, and this is a couple weeks old at this point, but I figured it'd be worth mentioning. The My Xbox Live app for iOS was updated a couple weeks back. If you scroll over to the third tab (I think?) you'll see a banner that says "Connect To Xbox". If you tap it, it will tell you to turn your console on, go into system settings, and turn on "Xbox Companion".

Once you've done that, your iOS will turn into a 360 remote, basically. It has a D-Pad for navigation and the four face buttons. Very nicely done on Microsoft's part, I must say. I tried it for the sake of trying it, and got no lag what-so-ever. Whatever I did on my phone immediately happened on my TV screen. You can also navigate through apps and whatnot with this too; it honestly makes Netflix and Youtube easier to use, in my opinion. I only have a wired controller though, so not having to have that anywhere near my bed anymore is a huge plus.
