How to fix / avoid Laser burned disks ( Guaranteed to work )

Recently my fifa 12 disk got laser burned, because i accidentaly tipped over my xbox while it was running!

-Warning! tipping your xbox over while running will almost certainly burn your disk.

-To avoid this make sure you lay your xbox flat and on the pads on the bottom of the xbox

I fixed my disk in 3 easy steps first get a chapstik and cover your disk with it,
slowly and gently rub it off using a tissue. repeat this 3 times.

- If this didn't work do not panic!

If there is a local game,blockbuster,gamestation or any gaming shops take your disk from them and ask if they fix laser burned disks. this usually costs about £2 but works pretty much every time.

- One more chance

If all this did not work then rent out a disk from a shop ( usually £5 ) install it on your hard drive. this means your broken disk will work, send back the rented disk and vuala it works!

I was wary at first by trying the chapstik, but trust it doesnt do any damage to the disk at all.

well laser burns cant be fixed once done i took to game shop and it smudged it more ,,,,,,

Ever since my old xbox burned my l4d2 disc I've taken the habit of installing every game I purchase. Now I really could care less what my xbox does.

The same stuff that's in toothpaste is used behind the counters in GameStop, I cleaned all my non-working discs. The only disc it won't clean is the one with 3 laser burns. It can handle 2, but not 3 sadly!
