I NEED ADVICE

I just bought an xbox game off my friend its not scratched and has only been played 2 and its freezing after bout 10min of playin it anyone got any advice on why?

Did the new console come with a hard drive? If so, you can transfer the files over using a transfer cable.

If not, then there is a trick you can do where you remove the casing from the hard drive and then fit it into the slot, like so:

Yes it comes with a 4gb hard drive I believe. How would that transfer cable help me though since I would be going from a 120gb to only 4gb?

I may just try out that video trick if all else fails...

I wasn't sure if it was the 250GB model or the 4GB, but yeah the transfer cable wouldn't help you with the 4GB model. Also, the 4GB isn't a hard drive, but internal flash memory.

I would do the trick if I were in your position. It would be a waste to buy a new hard drive if you already have a perfectly good 120GB one.
