Does anyone have like.. a tutorial of how to set this thing up?
i've done EVERYTHING that it says on the website (www.xbox.com/pcsetup) and it still doesnt work. My pc knows that my Xbox is there, But my Xbox will only recognise the computer downstairs. Not only that, but it recognises the individual profiles on it! How can i get my xbox to realise the computer i want music from is sitting right next to it? Thanksmuchly Wardrobeman. ------------------- | |

First of all, make sure both the 360 and the PC are on the same network.
If you want to do it through Windows Media Center, then go to that option on the 360 (can't remember where it is at the moment), then it should give you a code. Then go on your PC, open Windows Media Center, go to 'Tasks', and then click 'add extender'. That's where you enter the code at that the 360 gave you. You can do it via other programs as well. Windows Media Player can do it, but I've never gotten it to work consistently. TVersity is pretty cool program that works as well. -------------------

quote wardrobeman123Yeah, like I said, I've never gotten it to work consistently. Try what jackpumpkin said. If that doesn't work, then I suggest switching to a different program. TVersity is a great program, and has much more features that you can use on your 360 than WMP. Someone in another recent thread mentioned using Vuze, so I suppose that would work as well. -------------------
