Halo 3 is fun as the multiplayer is one of (if not the) best multiplayers on Live. COD5 isn't as good as COD4 but isn't as bad as people say.

Get COD4 and GTA4.

I have them all and really like them all but I think this would be my order.

COD4 > COD5 > GTA IV > Halo 3

If your friends own them, try them out and see which one you like best.

They're all great though. Buy them one at a time.

all i would say is dont get GTA4 because it sucks. massively over hyped and it gets old quick, its a rental at best. if you want any GTA at all play the earlier ones like San Andreas which is 100x better than GTA4.

I can't really stand Halo 3, and I prefer CoD 5 over 4, I like GTA:IV though for some reason...


CoD5 is my favourite, followed by GTA:IV

Sadly, I've never been able to get into a GTA, and GTA4 is no exception. I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't.

Halo 3 I've never played.

CoD4 is one of – if not the – best FPS of this generation.

CoD5 is CoD4 with a WW2 reskin, so it's more of the same, really (but the "same" being "*bleep*ing awesome"). However, the Zombie Nazi mode is a ton of fun; even to the point where many fans are calling for a game completely based around it.

If I had to pick one, it'd be CoD4.

All great games, but I prefer Halo 3 a little more.

GTA 4 - an okay game... worth a play, but you probably wont pick it up very often after that, and the multiplayer is pretty worthless.

Halo 3 - i think it's an extremely overrated game. i haven't played it since the first month i had it except when my friends are on and the majority want to play it. and the people that you generally run into on the multiplayer are 12 year old douche bags who think they are gods gift to the world. enough to make me seriously consider picking up a shot gun...

CoD4 - great online multiplayer, decent and fun campaign... a solid game all around IMO.

CoD5 - haven't played so i couldn't really tell you... i just think the nazi thing is way overplayed. i haven't liked a nazi game since wolfenstien 3D tbh, and that's the first game i ever played.

-Halo 3: Though it's over rated, it's great for multiplayer, as long as you have Xbox Live.

-GTA4: it was overhyped, but still pretty fun... for a while. Rent it to see if you would like it.

-CoD4: just awesome in every way. Best FPS I've played in a long time.

-CoD5: I never got a chance to play it, and probably won't ever really want to (I hear it's great, I just don't like FPS game much any more). From reviews I have read, I would say you might want to consider buying it.

Of what I have played, I think CoD4 is the best. If you end up wanting a CoD game, I would recommend renting both 4 and 5 to see which one you like best. Hell, it might be a good idea to rent all of the games you listed, then go with your own opinion for this.

yeah you could go with COD4, to get you amped up for MW2 which is no doubt gonna melt faces all over the place. or you could also play some Halo 3 to get ready for ODST which is shaping up nicely. Firefight is gonna rock.

Completely agree with this.

I'd get Halo and then choose the COD depending on which one your friends play more.
