If you want to hear some funny prank calls, listen to the Jerky Boys stuff, especially the early recordings that were originally recorded onto casette tape and then put onto their first CD. Now that was funny. You want more proof that this recording isn't funny? He HAD TO spew all that shit out to a recording. You know why? Because any actual person would have hung up on him in 3 seconds, ending the call. The beauty of the material from guys like the Jerky Boys is in how they manage to keep their victims on the phone in clever and funny as hell ways. That wasn't even a prank call you posted.
