Ok first you need to go the buy catalog and look under electronics for the metal detector, look around a bit and you will find it easy enough.

Next make sure that you are using Direct Control Mode.

Now go and get the metal detector and walk around slowlyy and watch the circle on the ground, what you are looking for is the point where it is white that means you are in the area, if you want you can check to see if the option to "dig" is available.

Anyway you need to search slowly around in the area where the circle becomes white and look for when the white circle is blinking a bit, you should then have the option to "dig" available.

If you don't get the option to dig, keep doing what I am telling you to do and move slowly around and ou should find that the dig option will there eventually.

If you don't use Direct Control none of the above will work, so make sure that you use Direct Control.

I relly had a hard time with the Metal Detiector qt first, then sometold me to use Direct Control and then watch for the White Circle that Flashes.

Once I got the hang of using I thought it was easy enough, but not at first. At first I thought it was hard and I could not do it.
