	While I would say Mario Kart 64 my least favorite game of the Mario Kart series that I've played (I have the SNES, GBA, and GC Mario Kart Games) I would probably give it the edge. 	I vote Mario Kart 64. Though Diddy Kong Racing did boast secret characters (one of them being a good incentive to beat the time trial records of each course), it's somewhat embarrassing to own once you reach a certain age on account of its childish themes and appearance. Adventure Mode is way too easy (aside from the bosses). I can lap about half of the racers most of the time. On a different note, it is possible to beat Mario Kart. You just have to place first in the Special Cup on 150cc or Mirror Mode.

	Mario Kart 64, but after playing other Mario Karts, you realize the lag factor. There was only 1 kart per character, little innovation. Diddy Kong racing all the way.

	Didi Kong Racing by far!! Kong is much more visually better the controlling is tighter for cars and planes , Hovers are a little slow. The range of weapons is less but the replay value is greater, the basic game is longer and there is a secret adventure mode available after completion, time trails bosses coin pickup races it has it all, and I just find more of a joy to play than Mario. But stats wise here are the results (courtesy of game rankings) Out of 10 main site reviews Diddy Kong = 89.1% Mario Kart 64 = 86.7% Therefore Diddy Kong Racing is overall perceived as the better. Check for yourself at www.gamerankings.com
