The internal hp cd writer 9500+ stopped working when I upgrade to winXP. It is still recognized by my computer as a rw drive. But it cannot read or write any cd. Is there anybody out there that can help me to get it work again? Someone mentioned about firmware??? update, I don't have a clue.....please help!......Thanks | |

According to HP, it is compatible with WinXP. You could try using the HP CD Writing Software to see if that works. If not, try contacting HP. -------------------  | |
