Team-mates Worth Mention?

I usually use my teammatese to help me take over a cp. I always try to save them, teammates are eccental to win a the level/space fight.

Teammates can be useful, as I have found out. I occasionally will get an engineer to follow me, only because I might need some extra health or ammo during my gunfights. But thats not all they are useful for. They also alert me if someone is flanking me by shooting them, that way, I am not taken by surprise.

when BFIII comes out I hope the AI is a lot smarter, smart enough to know when to hide when they know they will die. Actually going for cp's instead of wasting time running into walls. Hopefully, they will be able to use stratigy, like diversions and stuff.

Yeah, if someone gives me an health & ammo pack, I usually watch over him, make sure he doesn't die since he helped me out. I do that or tell him to follow me. If you ever play CTF deathstar, you sometimes need teammates following you to score. IMO it's one of the hardest CTF's. So sometimes you need your teammates, no matter how useless they seem at times.

Almost around 1/8 of my fights are with a team mate... I rarely like to be a Jedi because the main purpose of battlefront is to be a soldier... The first time i heard of battlefront, i thought it was too good to be true, ive always thought of being in a star wars clone war. But now i can play it.

Its no fun playing by yourself all the time which brings me to make other soldiers follow me. I never really do it with the droids because it doesnt suit them. But still works pretty dam well.

I always love making clone troopers follow me. They always fire at the closest enemy to alert me so i dont get ambushed. That always works when i play Dagobah, i bring as many soldiers as i can, and then run off. They kill about 1/4 of my kills but i still kill more ^-^

It is super useful to bring a Engineer to follow you since he gives everyone health. I once even got 3 engineers following me along with myself as an engineer! We never died for a long time until some bitchy ambush appeared and there were like 2 Rocket Launchers firing at me.

Anyway, I FInd it very realistic to bring soldiers and very strategical. Since i am a strategy freak and i can use a pin for the simplest strategies.

Some of my strategies:

1. Get 3 guys following me, Then hide in some corner, wait till an entire army comes running towards some location. Then disband 1 man, He runs out and he gets fired at, then i emerge with my other team mates and OWN THOSE SON OF A *Bleepeeee*

2. I stay in 1 tight place such as Tatooine, 1 of the bases where there is a stairs inside the compound of the CP... I like to stand there and let my men Automattically take cover for some strange reason... Only when there is no fire .... And when someone comes, we all run and take em out.

This is not usually fun, but the first time i did this, like, 10 droids came at the base and it was a massive defense type of thing. All my men died after awhile, but they died slowly and not instantly by just 1 shot

Well i can only think of that for the while So i think they are super useful.

I very rarely use them on foot but in tanks I use them constantly. Without the beam turret in a tank your very vulnerable. Although they miss most of what they're aiming at it does somewhat keep you better protected.

On foot its a whole different story. If I feel like grabbing a few in the last few minutes of a game I do.
Most of the time I leave them alone though because they get killed easy and arent very accurate.
They draw too much fire.

Fun to use some of the time but lethal to use most of the time.

Whenever I'm going as the Empire, I always take the maximum number of troops with me. I find that having 3 regular riflemen and an engineer is the best set-up(I usually go as one of these two as well) because the amount of firepower is enough to take down a good number of enemy troops. Also, the engineer helps out by giving us ammo/health dispensers whenever I'm we're low on health. If I'm going as the Republic, I'll go as either the Clone Commander or normal trooper and try to take along a regular trooper, an engineer or a commander with me (I usually take all 3 and then take some random person as well).

Most of the time, I use my team-mates as cover in the main 'firefight' battlefronts (Polis Massa, Deathstar etc - anywhere that has lots of thing corridors) but they're also really useful in the big, open battlefields (Geonosis, Mos Eisley etc) because they can be used as an early warning "system" for any nearby enemy troops, but they also make capturing command posts a hell of a lot easier.
