In the manual it clearly says:

R2= Switch Primary Weapon/Saber Lock (Jedi)

I haven't actually managed to do a Saber Lock, i was wondering if anyone else had been able to do this apparently non-existent feature?

Ahh, i know this. It means that you block enemy fire (as a jedi) that's going to hit you. It's the button you press when you want to block/reflect bullets.

But for some reason it sometimes quit's while the three red buttons are counting down and there are lassers coming from every where then DUCK! JUMP!! WAIT ROLL LEFT NO RIGHT!!DONT DIE!1

I think he has to deflecked a shot before the three dots go down or he will just stop or you have to not get shot at before the three dots are gone or else he'll stop

I think that those red dots are the time the Jedi have to deflect a shot "directly to the attacker"... I've been able to block with Joda at Polis Massa a Droideka's attack for about a minute, so I don't think they are the total time for blocking at all

thank you dragon2000....i don't see whats so hard to figure out.......you push it and you start blocking until your stamina bar runs out

The thing that Ive noticed with the red dots is that is how long you have to MANUALLY hold the block button down to keep the block up.

Once those dots tick away, you can release the block button, and your Jedi will maintain his blocking automatically until the force bar is depleted.
