Do you still use heroes? A few years back I decided to stop, mostly because the guy I played with most often was getting a little peeved with my skills with a hero. I've found the game to be more difficult, but also quite a bit more fun.

Well, except for the odd time where I can play has Han or Leia without him noticing that I'm a hero for a while. ;D

only certain ones >.> I dont use people like han, leia, the emporer, or vader...

I get more kills with the regular blast rifle trooper than with the hero..

I use them all the time, love them! Course, I got sick of Hero Assault mode after a while, but having them in regular battles are quite fun IMO. Just spices things up a bit from just using soldiers so you can quickly turn the tide of the battle. =) My friend on the other hand can't stand them, and fails at using them. We both have our advantages and disadvantages, and usually end up quite even in our battles despite our almost completely opposite playing styles!

Gotta say that this has become true for me too. I charge out and can easily get more shots and kills out with a normal trooper or sniper than what I can get with any heroes, especially the lightsaber using heroes. In fact, whenever I use them, there is a serious reduction in my kills -- not only do they tend to take a bit of time to kill a unit, but you tend to have to be close to them and you can only attack so many times in a few minutes, whereas with a trooper you can easily get off four or five shots in under ten seconds at different targets, and kill at five.

i do use them but i like regular troops better

I turned off Heroes ages ago. Who plays Jedi when you can be a Darktrooper?

Only use them when playing with friends, as my friend loves the, but when i do single player i turn them off because I've always loved tight matches more then i do walk-over (Super Smash brothers Brawl,Star Wars Battlefront 2, All my Fifa games this goes for) because if i put it 500% reinforcements and put heroes available every 25 points ill win by 200-350

While I think the concept of being able to use heroes are cool, I definitely think that it was one of many balancing issues inherent with the game. No matter on whatever setting you were on, you could easily kill an extra 20 or 30 units with a hero in short order and all but win the game if you manage to take the bases fast enough while you are doing it.

I love using them too, especially Mos esly because I can
glitch using a Jedi.

Depends on the Hero available.

If I'm going to get some Hero with a blaster like Han Solo or Chewbacca, no. I've have a lot more fun and be a lot more successful sticking with one of the regular classes.

But if the Hero's Darth Maul, General Grevious, or Kit Fisto, I'm accepting that choice in a heartbeat.

Speaking of Kit Fisto, how is he on the Xbox? I'm generally inclined not to use Maul because he makes the game ridiculously easy, is Kit Fisto along those lines? Only seem some gameplay and since I actually have more access to Xbox's lately than I thought I would I was wondering if the download kit was worth it.

I can have the best time playing as him solely using the Force Orb. That is such a cool Force power.
